Week Three at NCC

This week has been packed with adventure, creativity, and fun, and we are thrilled to share some of the highlights with you!

Whippoorwill is looking forward to the annual Gold Rush while Lincoln revs up for a fever-pitched Final Four. The mixed sailing race against our friendly rival Camp Poko-MacCready was as riveting as ever, resulting in a convincing victory for the brave mariners from…North Country Camps! (We knew a week of serious study of rules and techniques would pay off!)

We enjoyed music and good humor at our second Concert Night, as well as a wonderfully organized lip-sync hosted by the Whippoorwill Workgroup. Rehearsals continued for next week’s production of Alice in Wonderland. Riders treated the horse to a Pony Spa day, and of course our intrepid hikers set out on more adventures up Giant, Rocky Peak Ridge, Rattlesnake, Cub Mountain, while paddlers pivoted (like expert canoeists do!) to a Champlain- only evening excursion.

Most important, after some tearful goodbyes from our three-week campers, we joyfully welcomed some new arrivals in both camps, already settling in and raring to go!

Stay tuned!
