It’s always possible to extend your stay, if you’ve chosen a shorter session. Contact the directors for more information.
There is a $500 deposit required upon registration. This deposit is refundable until March 1st. The balance of the camp fee is due June 1st.
The camp fee includes purchases from the camp store, for your child’s incidental needs, as well as one camp t-shirt. There is no camp uniform.
We offer a sibling discount for families sending 3 or more children at a time. That discount is $800 for each full season camper and $400 for each 5 week camper. There is no discount for 3 week campers.
We offer a chaperoned bus ride to and from camp on the first and last days of the full camp season. The round trip fare is $280. Baggage is limited to two duffel bags per child, as well as a small carry-on.
Campers traveling by air can be met at airports in Burlington, VT, Albany, NY, or Montreal, Canada for a fee of $150 each way, or Plattsburgh, NY for free.
There are no extra charges for activities like horseback riding, weekly laundry, or the many hiking and canoeing trips out of camp. Workgroup campers who choose to attend a pre-camp session starting on Thursday, June 26, will be charged a fee of $300.
Gucker Campership Fund
The Gucker Campership Fund provides financial support to help families afford the North Country Camps. Supported by tax-free contributions from past and present camp families, campers and counselors, the Fund is available for a range of family circumstances and various levels of assistance. Although funding is not guaranteed, inquiries are encouraged and kept strictly confidential. To learn more, please inquire here.
